Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Just who do you think you are to preach to the masses?
Answer: I have studied Jewish Ideology for over 25 years. I have studied any Hashkafah work from Rishonim and Achronim which I could get my hands on. From the Geonim till Rabbi Avigdor Miller and everything in-between. I have a great thirst for Hashkafah (ideology) works. The great Rabbis that have shaped my view of Authentic Judaism have been the Beis Midrash of the Gaon of Vilna, The Chazon Ish, and the Brisker Rav. From Rabbi Rabbi Avigdor Miller I learned Authentic Judaism’s outlook on current events. I have known, and still do know, most of the Gedolim of our generation and have discussed Hashkafah issues with them. I have studied in depth many issues of Jewish Hashkafah from many different angles. I can promise you that while I realize how much I don’t know, what I DO write about, I know very clearly.

Question: Aren’t you arrogant?
Answer: I may be, but that has nothing to do with what I write. I am 1000 percent sure that what I write is correct. Clarity is not arrogance. Everybody is close minded regarding something (cruelty, child abuse, equal rights for animals etc) it’s just a matter of what. Being open minded about life issues is simply a sign of a weak mind. THERE HAS NEVER EXISTED AN AUTHENTIC TORAH SAGE WHO WAS “OPEN-MINDED” ABOUT THE BASICS OF TORAH IDEOLOGY. Yes, some were more outspoken than others, but none, absolutely none, had a weakness when it came to being “open-minded” about the pillars of Jewish ideology.

Question: Aren’t you ignorant about a lot of issues you write about?
Answer: If I write about it I have done my homework. I am very fluent in Tanach and commentaries, Talmud, Sifrei Poskim and Sifrei Kabalah. I have printed 5 books Chidushei Torah and Drush.
I am familier with the Philosophies and histories of: Modern Orthodox (JB, Tendler, Lamm, Marc Shapiro, and many more), Reform, Conservative (Schechter, Levi Ginzburg, Shaul Liberman, Zold, Finkelstein, etc) Reconstructionism (Kaplan and his few buddies) and other impostors of Judaism. I am very familiar with the history of Zionism and its sinister leaders as well as their atrocities against Judaism and the Jewish people. I am familiar with all types of Biblical and Talmudic criticism, lower, higher, up and down. I am familiar with pre and post Kantonian philosophies. I am familiar with all the natural sciences and medicine, mathematics and physics. I have studied psychology (Freud, Adler, Mazlow, Frankl) I am very fluent in the “debate” surrounding insanities regarding life origins Darwinism and neo-Darwinism (Gould, Dawkins, PZ Meyers, Scott etc) . I actively follow the Intelligent Design (Johnson, Dembski, Meyer, Berlinski and everybody else) movement. I am addicted to technology (I hope to overcome this someday) and fluent computer programmer in many languages.(C##, Delphi, VB, VBA, Openscript). I have studied vastly “success literature” (Emerson, Carnegy, Nightingale, Tracy, Robbins and much more).

Question: Why don’t you supply more sources to back up you ideas?
Answer: Anything I write in my blog is supported by many sources. I have a very heavy learning schedule which forces me to shorten things. If you request a source I will do my best to get back you with it.

Question: Isn’t your blog promoting hate towards fellow Jews?
Answer: Let’s get this straight and simple: As long as Jew is Bchlal Amisecha (rules of such are at the beginning of the sefer Chofetz Chaim) even if he is really wicked and does many Aveiros, it’s still a mitzvah to love him, but to hate his behavior. Once a person leaves the arena of Amisecha, it is a Mitzvah to hate him as strong as you can. People who promote, repeat promote, false Jewish ideology, are as far out from Amisecha as you can go. They are Machtiei HaRabim and cannot do Tshuvah.

Question: Don’t your spelling and grammar mistakes prove that you are unqualified?
Answer: I left America at a young age at which time my English was weak. I have taught myself how to write and therefore my “good” English is limited. I ask forgiveness for this limitation. In Hebrew I make no spelling mistakes. If someone is so pea-brained to judge the legitimacy of something from spelling than there is nothing I can do about it. (A recent President of the United States who “wrestled everyday with the English language and usually lost” was elected by the American people for two terms).

Question: You seem to like the sound of your voice only. Why don’t you publish the comments that disagree with what you write?

Answer: This blog is not a forum for debates. Authentic Jewish Ideology is not debatable. If anyone has a legitimate question, the question will be posted and answered (maybe not right away, but eventually) Example: If someone asks “How can you say Kook was a wicked man, don’t we see that [a certain Gadol BeTorah] respected him? That is a legitimate question and it will be eventually answered. However, if you want to use this blog to promote *your* opinion about how great Kook was, you are wasting your time and energy.

Another point: Even if we cannot approve a comment, we will try to answer its commenter via email. However, if people leave nasty remarks without an email address like a hit and run, we cannot reply. Most of the nasty replies to this blog have not left valid email addresses. I guess they are afraid to do so.

So think a little before leaving a comment and you WILL get an answer.
