About this Blog
This blog expresses Authentic Jewish Word Views on as many subjects as its authors have time to write about. It was founded with the hope of getting Authentic Judaism’s view to as wide an audience as possible. (We are not interested in promoting internet usage. The internet is an extremely dangerous place for Authentic Jews, and if it can be avoided totally, that is a great blessing. However, for those that are anyway using the internet it is healthy to be reminded of what Authentic Judaism has to say about many important avenues of life.)
The name Authentic Judaism is self explanatory. Yes, whether you like or hate the idea, there is only one authentic type of Judaism, that being Torah/Halacha faithful Judaism. All others are only impostors (and pretty poor ones for that matter).
The head of of this blog is me, Rabbi Raphael Bearmant, 46, born in Boston, educated in Brisk, lives in Jerusalem. I am not associated with any political party or movement (like the Neturei Karta, Agudah, Rev Shach, Brisk, or whatever), I am simply interested in one thing: Authentic Judaism. I ask that you judge the content of this blog by its objective value, and not dismiss the ideas expressed by quickly (and mistakenly) associating them with some small minority or “extreme” group or sect. Remember the search for truth is not a democratic process. What’s true is true, no matter how many people think it is or isn’t.
I will say this, however, that I was greatly influenced by Rabbi Avigdor Miller, himself, his tapes and his writings over the 25 years I knew him.
One major part of Rabbi Miller’s mission was to show the truth about the religions of the world. Posts on these issues will always be password protected for obvious reasons. If you would like to receive the password to these posts, please send an email requesting so to the address bellow.
