A Kollel Yungerman who’s learning was going very, very difficultly turned to a certain “Rabbi” and asked for advise about what he should do? The Rabbi replied “It appears that your tafkid (purpose) in life is not to be a learner, maybe consider going into business…”. The Yungerman was a little surprised by the answer and before taking any new steps he came to ask me my opinion. I replied:
“It appears to me that your tafkid in life is to be a learner no manner how difficult it may be. Hahsem loves you and therefore has given you a very hard and special task: To remain a learner regardless of what it takes! I envy your situation. Your reward will be endless….”
Rabbi Miller ZAL put things this way: There is only one thing that will make a difference in Olam HaBah: How much you suffered in this world for Torah and Mitzvos!
So next time your going is tough in any area of Torah and Yiddeshkeit don’t believe any lies that any non authentic Rabbis tell you that “this is a sign” that you should change your way of life, consult only authentic Jewish authorities and remember and be strong and conquer your enemies!
