I'm sorry to keep commenting on old posts, but I need to let this out for sanity's sake, and my usual spot for such acts, frumteens.com, has already taken too many of my rants.

there are two things, beyond the usual things, that I can not get over regarding these people

One is, while searching for a sefer of Rav Miller's (which I now Baruch Hashem have), I came across a letter on a site of one of these pro-slifkiners with defamation against Rav Miller. While the author of the letter may honestly have not known better (it sounded that way from what I saw), the person whose site this was on did not object, but had the letter as support. this is typical. DDOn't they notice who their supporters and their opponents supporters are?? DO they think it means nothing?

2 I know of someone who went off the derech due to these filth books.

Rabbi Miller used to say that this exactly how you can tell if a person has legitimate questions regarding Torah ideology, or he is "looking for trouble", that being he is looking for heresy. If the question is based on stupidity like things you read in National Geographic or Scientific American, you can tell that that person is not an erliche Yid. Please read next post.
