In almost every Authentic Jewish community there are outcries about the lack of Tznius and Kedushah in the clothing that Jewish daughters and women are becoming more and more accustomed to. We wish these blessed Jews who invest so much to keep non-authentic Jewish styles far away from our holy tents, the utmost of success. However, there is a major point about tznius being almost totally overlooked these days.
While the rules of clothing are very important, that’s still not what real tznius is all about. Real Tznius for ladies is simply one thing: Staying at home, out of sight, as much as possible. Not leaving the house, only for the most important of reasons, is what real tznius for ladies is all about. The more a girl or women stays home the more Tznuah we can call her, and the more righteous she is considered.
The RAMBAM sais that a husband should let his wife out of the house only once or twice in a month’s time.
All Authentic Jewish households should train and educate their girls and women the great importance of this concept. That they should heavily weigh the importance of any event which tries to pull her out of the house, even it is for a Dvar Mitzvah.
“Where is Sarah your wife? Behold she is inside the tent!”
Let us emulate the great ways of our ancestors and not the disgusting ways of the Goyim and those who try to imitate them.

While I expected that this post would be very provocative, I was very surprised by the amount of Authentic Jews who had issues with it.
Yes, this is the Authentic Jewish definition of real Tznius. As I said it is based on the RAMBAM as well as a quote of Rabbi Mendel Kaplan ZL in the book:
Reb Mendel and His Wisdom.
The fact that the Bnei Yishmael think along these lines should not bother us. We will not cut off our noses because Arabs have one too.
does ur wife do this
Legitimate Question.
Yes, I can tell you that my wife stays off the street as much as she can. There have indeed been times when more than a month went by and she didn’t cross the doormat. I am very proud of her.
